Revae Downey

Ravae Doney is a public health practitioner providing high-quality customer service with over ten years of experience in the research, implementation, and evaluation of infectious (HIV) disease and chronic disease (cancer, diabetes, alcohol use disorder) prevention and health communication with a focus on adolescents, women – particularly young women and Black women, health care providers, and vulnerable populations. She is skilled in supporting and leading the design, implementation, and dissemination of mixed methods research and evaluation that is sensitive and responsive to the needs and priorities of diverse communities through a health equity lens. Ms. Downey is experienced in leading culturally responsive trainings, providing technical assistance, and capacity building to diverse stakeholders in community-based organizations, health facilities, and judicial systems. She is trained to translate research and evaluation findings into one-pagers, reports/presentations, and strategic briefs to inform decision-making, strategic direction, and program improvement. Capacity to work independently and jointly across teams and organizations to produce thoughtful project deliverables while cultivating team cohesion and productivity.
